Monitis launches Asset Manager – industry’s first Asset Management as a service at an affordable price.  It is estimated that 34% of software installed is never used!  Monitis Asset Manager automatically creates inventory, logs usage pattern and proactively suggest optimization to reduce cost.  Traditional asset management solutions are expensive and large companies use them for effective license management.  Now small/medium companies can take advantage of Monitis Asset Manager not only for license management but also cost optimization!

Current Monitis Performance Monitor platform users just need to click accept when the installed agents automatically upgrades to integrate new Asset Management as a Service.  New users just need to auto-deploy Monitis software agent on systems that need to be monitored.  Once installed, agents will update inventory at central server on what is installed on the particular hardware and/or software. Administrator can consolidate information across the organization.

Monitis Performance Monitor service can be hosted on Amazon EC2 or in an internal cloud. Demonstrations will be available during CeBIT exhibition, Hall 6, Stand B16

IT administrators not only have to deal with the spiraling complexity of heterogeneous infrastructures such as SaaS, cloud computing, systems outside the firewall, etc but also spiraling out of control cost especially in a challenging economic environment. Traditional existing systems are not adept to deal with last few years of rapid infrastructure changes but also require significant learning curve let alone continued maintenance. Monitis is radically changing the system monitoring and management landscape by providing easy to use, affordable, flexible (deployment configurations include: shared, internal cloud and external cloud), and simple to manage SaaS performance monitoring and management solution.
